Conversations · Live online

Come back to the life that is already happening.

You do not need another parenting framework. You may simply need the space to notice what is pulling you away from the people you love—and find your way back.

90 minutes20–30 parentsLive and unrecorded

Presence is not something you schedule. It is something you return to.

The real work begins here

The problem is not that you do not love your family.
It is that life keeps taking you away from them.

Work follows you home. Your nervous system stays on alert. You sit beside your child while your mind is still answering messages, solving problems and preparing for tomorrow.

An honest distinction

Being home is not the same as being present.

You can provide deeply, organise everything and still feel as though you are watching family life from a distance.

That does not make you a bad parent. It makes you a human being who may have been carrying too much for too long.

Conversations is a place to put some of that weight down. Not so someone can fix you, but so you can hear yourself clearly again.

Work on the human first. Your parenting changes with you.

What becomes possible

More space between what happens—and how you respond.

One honest conversation will not make family life perfect. It can change the place from which you meet it.

01

See what is underneath the reaction.

Notice the pressure, fear or exhaustion that speaks before you have the chance to choose your response.

02

Recognise that you are not alone.

Hear other parents name experiences you may have assumed were yours to carry privately.

03

Return to ordinary moments.

Find connection again in car rides, slow mornings and the quiet minutes when nothing needs to be achieved.

Introducing Conversations

A room for the things parenting advice does not make room for.

This is not a webinar, a course or group therapy. It is a facilitated, private gathering where parents slow down, sit with one theme and speak honestly—without advice, judgement or pressure to pretend they have it together.

Why I created this

I spent years rushing past the moments I now understand mattered most.

I’m Duffy, the person behind YogiDad. Years ago, I stepped away from a demanding career and moved to Goa with my daughter.

I thought changing my surroundings would make me more present. What followed was a much longer process: learning to slow down internally, notice my own patterns and stay when every part of me wanted to move on to the next task.

Conversations is the space I wish had existed for me then—a room where parents can tell the truth while they are still figuring it out.

This may be for you

If something in you knows there has to be another way.

You are physically with your family, but your mind is often somewhere else.
You react more sharply than you want to—and feel guilty afterwards.
Your home is organised, but family life feels managed rather than lived.
You are tired of advice and want a more honest kind of conversation.
You are willing to look at yourself—not to blame yourself, but to understand your part.

Before you decide

Questions, answered plainly.

Do I have to speak?+

No. Listening is participation too. You are welcome to share, but nobody will call on you or ask you to explain yourself.

Is this therapy?+

No. Conversations is a facilitated peer gathering, not counselling, diagnosis or treatment.

Will the session be recorded?+

No. The room is live and unrecorded so parents can speak without wondering where their words may appear later.

What happens after I request a seat?+

Your details will be sent securely to YogiDad. We will contact you with confirmation, session information and the joining link.

What if this is not the right time?+

That is completely fine. Join when it is genuinely right for you—not because a page pushed you into it.
